Artist's Description

Venice skyline - Busy crowds of tourists visiting Venice Riva degli Schiavoni promenade near Doges Palace and Campanile in St Marks square Venice Italy EU Europe

Piazza San Marco, often known in English as St Mark's Square, is the principal public square of Venice, Italy, where it is generally known just as la Piazza ("the Square"). All other urban spaces in the city (except the Piazzetta and the Piazzale Roma) are called campi ("fields"). The Piazzetta ("little Piazza/Square") is an extension of the Piazza towards San Marco basin in its south east corner

St Mark's Campanile, Campanile di San Marco is the bell tower of St Mark's Basilica in Venice, Italy. It is the tallest structure in Venice and is colloquially termed "el parĂ²n de casa" (the master of the house). It is one of the most recognizable symbols of the city.

Located in Saint Mark's Square, Venice's former governmental centre, the campanile was initially built as a watch tower to sight approaching...

About Neale And Judith Clark

Neale And Judith Clark

Neale's taken photos for as long as he can remember and can't imagine not being photographer. He was already processing his own film and shooting with an SLR in primary school! We met at University and discovered a shared passion for travel and artwork. We've since travelled the world shooting together but the travel has always been completely linked to photography and somehow very little compares to the magic of capturing a new location in the perfect light. We hope that these images capture the feeling that we had when we saw that light and really portray the atmosphere of the locations. They've been used all over the planet to illustrate books, magazines, travel brochures, calenders and websites. Maybe they would look good on your wall!...
