Classic Tuscany a view at sunset of the now restored Vitaleta chapel surrounded by Cypress trees on a hilltop near Pienza San Quirico d'orcia Val d'orcia Tuscany Italy EU Europe
Amongst the colourful southern Tuscany countryside beside the village of Vitaleta, lies a charming little house of praise called the Chapel of the Madonna di Vitaleta. One of the most photographed churches in Tuscany, this mystical building used to be the home of a Renaissance statue of the Madonna sculpted by the artist, Andrea della Robbia in 1590. Built in the middle of a hill, this spectacular tourist attraction was restored in 1184 by the architect Giuseppe Partini and was recently classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.The Chapel of Our Lady of Vitaleta is a small sacred building is located on a hilltop in the village Vitaleta on the road that connects San Quirico d'Orcia to Pienza.

Neale's taken photos for as long as he can remember and can't imagine not being photographer. He was already processing his own film and shooting with an SLR in primary school! We met at University and discovered a shared passion for travel and artwork. We've since travelled the world shooting together but the travel has always been completely linked to photography and somehow very little compares to the magic of capturing a new location in the perfect light. We hope that these images capture the feeling that we had when we saw that light and really portray the atmosphere of the locations. They've been used all over the planet to illustrate books, magazines, travel brochures, calenders and websites. Maybe they would look good on your wall!...
