Welsh Sunset - Worm's head Rhossili Bay at sunset on the Gower peninsula an AONB West Glamorgan South Wales UK GB Europe
Worm's Head (Welsh Pen Pyrod) is a headland which is the furthest westerly point on the Gower Peninsula, at Rhossili, part of the City and County of Swansea, Wales.
The name Worm's Head is derived from an Old English word for 'dragon'.
The headland of carboniferous limestone comprises three islands: the Inner Head, Middle Head and Outer Head. In total it is approximately a mile long, and the Inner Head up to 200 yards wide. Worm's Head is only accessible on foot for 2½ hours either side of high tide, via a causeway from the mainland
Neale's taken photos for as long as he can remember and can't imagine not being photographer. He was already processing his own film and shooting with an SLR in primary school! We met at University and discovered a shared passion for travel and artwork. We've since travelled the world shooting together but the travel has always been completely linked to photography and somehow very little compares to the magic of capturing a new location in the perfect light. We hope that these images capture the feeling that we had when we saw that light and really portray the atmosphere of the locations. They've been used all over the planet to illustrate books, magazines, travel brochures, calenders and websites. Maybe they would look good on your wall!...
